Joining up as a Marine Engineering technician on the surface fleet.

I completed my Recruit Test January this year, and have since completed my Medical, fitness test, and interview, and have applied for my security clearance recently. Anyway Ive been told different times by different recruiters the time I will start my training, one said it will be June 2013 due to a massive uplift in recruitment next year, while others have said January 2014 and another has said June 2014. Im sorry about asking this question as you will get it all the time, but how long do you think I will be waiting, and will there be a big uplift in recruitment?

Thanks for your help. Even if it is a long wait, I am prepared to wait, I'm determined to join, and I do respect the fact people have been waiting for years to receive their start date.
