TU is a medical category of discharge, not disciplinawotsit for those interested, so is erm, thingy. That's it... it's erm, whatdyacallit? Oh yeah: "discretion". It's at the discretion of the Medical Blokey. "Officer", that's the one, "case by case" and all that.
    Discharge Medical

Those who are currently in receipt of a Disability or Invalid Pension are not eligible for re-entry.

'Medically discharged' includes: ‘56 Day Rule’, ‘Invalided’, ‘Not Finally Attested’, ‘Defect in Enlistment Procedure’, ‘Unsuitable for Further Army Service’, ‘Ceasing to Fulfil Medical/Physical Standards’ and ‘Temperamentally Unsuitable’.

Upon application the original medical documents will be forwarded to headquarters Naval Recruiting for consideration for entry by the Senior Medical Officer (Service Entries). Each case will be considered individually on its merits and, in most cases, forwarded to a Service Medical Consultant for opinion.

I knew a bootneck who was addicted to diet/caffine free coke and wanking. He'd crack at least 12 off the wrist a day and neck about 20 cans.

How'd this slip threw the net of "temperamentally unsuitable", we weren't even in sangers?
why you kikka my dog and a call it fuck off?

"Whatdyacallit" doesn't always work in your favour, the Captain Medical Blokey on my board decided PUNS was a suitable acronym to describe my condition upon discharge.

Suppose it could have been worse… SNLR, or perhaps DD.
Aye, very nice, Petunia. And look at that nice little boat. He's having a lot of fun out there in his little dingy [sic]. That's what they call them, you know, "sailing dingies".

Generally those discharged TU with associated disciplinary issues are significantly less likely to be recommended for further service at the time of discharge.

Most people who fall into this category are, at the time, pretty focussed on leaving with the concept of rejoining a remote, even laughable, consideration.

Wow still the same CPO working at the careers office. He must be so bored after 5 years or more behind that desk lol. I received a reply this morning and it turns out each case is dealt with individually and he said it's even possible to join as an officer with a TU discharge on your record.

Great news thanks a lot for all your help.

If your email was anything like your posting skills, i can see why he's still there to be honest. There's not much amusement in the workplace these days.

My post is just plain honest.... I'm not going to lie and say otherwise. I'm a student and I'm lazy as fuck, but when it comes to the job it's a different story
