To assume I didn't read contract and didn't know what i was getting myself into is actually quite offensive. Like I said "circumstances change"......

Surely, even though the harrier is going, A trainet AET has a chance to retrain for Helicopters?
I only ask because things out here on the outside are really tough at the mo and jobs are scarcer than an honest politician or a Lib Dem who supports Trident

I understand mate. I'd say do whatever it takes to stay in though if possible. Its bad out here and things show little sign of getting better. If there is a way to respec or something like that then that I suspect would be safer than leaving. Specially if you have a family. Not a good time to risk unemployment.
Whatever happens, I wish you the best

Re: PVR-Re-join-Return
You've come on a website asking a question, the answer to which is quite clearly laid down and readily available from your friendly careers advisor (or DO).

Edited to add: Did it not occur to you when rejoining that it might be useful to know when you could leave, bearing in mind the fact that you'd joined previously and decided that it wasn't working out?One cannot begin to fathom the immensity of the fuck I do not give.

Re: PVR-Re-join-Return
Ya see, thing I was confused about was if my rts was taken from the time i qualified as aet or when i was qm/qs on an aircraft type, my contract is in box somewhere and as I only recently moved house, havent been able to get to it yet. So you see, I could have asked DO but he is on leave (half term) so I was just trying to find out relevant info on a website where I thought people would be helpfull. I realise that some people on here are good eggs, thanks for you lack of help "shippers"

So why in the name of Jools Holland would you want to PVR rather than receive a potential redundancy package or keep your job, albeit it on a different airframe?
