The out of date figures between ratings and officers appears to be very similar. The discharge figures suggest ratings are far more likely to be booted out. TBF, the FOI questions are maybe designed to point towards that conclusion.
I'll leave the conspiracy theories up to you.

18-05-12, 19:58 #36I know a 15 year 2 star AB who hasn't passed his fitness test since 2004. Not medically downgraded not MBOS either. Not been kicked out for failure of RNFT. It looks like the only way they are getting rid of him will be via the redundancy tranche. He gets a fair bit of money through that. If they got rid of him for failing RNFT's they wouldn't have had to pay a redundancy package

Not rhetorical, I mean it. Sponging cunt.
PM me with his details, and if not sorted, I know these blokes...Wit lent from heaven but vices sent from hell
19-05-12, 08:15 #39Exactly, bet the fat cunt thinks its funny too? It's amazing for what essentially is a fighting force, how many fat useless twats there are strutting around the navy.Effing disgrace. If you can't pass your fitness test, which to be honest is a joke at any time of the year not just when you have prepped for it, you should be launched out. Full stop. A little but draconian but you will get no sympathy from me.

I didn't attend his funeral but wrote a nice letter saying I approved of it.
In a fraction of a second they are projected into eternity and will never possess a final resting home.
They have graves without bodies, they are an exceptional breed of people....
It is an utmost proudness of myself to have met these men, those lords that I salute, praise and admire.
