I think most of the protagonists had forgotten what the fuck they were arguing about half way through, and the other half didn't seem to care. A little like RR but in colour and with much more fervor.
Anyhow off to Leicester tomorrow to brave the terrors of Belgrave Gate.
Its like going foreign without a passport.

Hi, Many thanks for the welcome, I'll try and behave myself (if I must) but that has very difficult for most of my adult life!

You are posting subliminal messages aren't you.

It does have its up side ... mind you would have thought some of these "sailors" would understand the effects of the tide ...

Couple of years ago a few of us were sitting in a dockside bar during Cowes Week (at high tide) having a few beers watching the sun go down (as you do). Just in front of the bar was a moored dingy which was rocking a little more than one would expect given the sea state at the time however ....... the tide dropped quite fast revealing a young couple going at it hard on the bottom boards ... give them their due ... once she realised they were on display she swopped over and got on top! The crowd that had gathered to watch from the jetty all applauded ... and marked them out of 10!
