    traveling in the royal navy.

    Hi all,

just a quick question about traveling in todays navy.

I heard, not so long ago there was plenty of traveling in the navy, but with the current economic crisis affecting all the armed forces budgets and the iraq and afghanistan situation, is there still a fair amount of travel in the navy, or has it been cut back?

    Thanks.

Try Cunard, they seem to visit foreign shores. If you wish something more inshore, Viking Cruises are very good too.

There's still plenty of travelling in the Navy, in fact possibly more than there was a few years ago.

Unfortunately, there's a bit less stopping in places!!!

The minimum distance anyone in the RN has to travel in a year is one and a half miles. Some cunts struggle with that and it has an economic effect on them.

Still loads of travel, in tillies, buses, coaches, trucks, and occasionally planes and ships.

Sometimes if you use your own bike/car you may get paid for it.
