Hey Chieftiff, I've just been reading back along this forum and getting a lot of useful information regarding the training, as I've been given a start date of the 26th July 2009.

I am hoping you are still available to answer more questions relating to say a general working week being an AET, both during training and after training, where can you be based once qualified and how easy is it to continue taking more qualifications once your initial qualifications have been passed.

I do have many more questions if anybody is able to help, as I currently live up north with the missus, we have lots of questions about how life is going to be for us both as of July.

    Any help would be appreciated.

hey i am on my final few stages of the application to join, i passed my phyiscal and i go to acquiant course next week and pending a positive review from the doc over my asthma i shud be going in july (so my afco says). I really cant wait to join and have already meet so many amazing people thro things that the navy sent us on such as hms Illustrious. I have always wanted to join a force and come from a strong military background but will be the first to join the Navy.
