06-01-12, 08:29 #14The ship was the ex HMS Coreopsis which had been sold to the Greek Navy and renamed KRIEZIS. She was being scrapped when the film was being made , so they borrowed her to play the part of Compass Rose.
Incidentally the pennant number K 49 was picked at random, but actually belonged to HMS Crocus.
