Multiculturalism is a failed experiment, it created communities within communities, it served to marginalise and centralise minorities to the point where some towns and cities had no go areas for the local population (in some areas even people of the same ethnic background where unwelcome as they had become too British)

Honour killings and forced marriage in the UK are predominantly from the Muslim population - Those that are know about and investigated, but how many do not get investigated for the very reason that they are not reported as the closed communities MC has allowed to grow, to a degree either tolerate these actions or their members are too scared of becoming excluded from these communities to report the crimes.

SPB, you have done the diversity courses and swallowed the PC crap hook line and sinker, try finding out the result of the government review of local authorities’ responses to ‘honour’ based violence that was carried out in 2010, I wish you joy of any search you carry out as it was quietly swept under the carpet.

The VAST majority of the Muslim population are law abiding citizens, of that I have no doubt, but the minority that want to impose other forms of 'local laws' (Sharia courts are held in the UK in some Muslim communities) are growing in strength.

I have no problem with controlled immigration into the UK, but any who come here should accept that we are a christian society with a set of laws both common and in statute that have taken centuries to form, we should respect the newcomers beliefs as long as they fall within the Laws of the UK, but equally they should respect our beliefs and customs and not try to change them to suit the countries they came from.

Lets not get carried away and pretend there is a huge wave of honour killings going on around the UK kids. These two are not very nice and duly deserve their sentence but they shouldn't be the catalyst that convinces the easily roused that every Muslim is at it. We all remember the wonderful wave of outrage that had some people believe there.were Muslim gangs on every street corner in Britain raping teenage girls.

There are far more murders in the UK where someone has been shot / stabbed / beaten to death just for being in the wrong place or looked in the direction of the wrong person. You cannot tell me that those cases aren't equally as bad as this one. Plus, they are more common. Get angry about every one of those why don't you?

Murderers are arse holes regardless of motive, race or religion. They shouldn't become the basis for more misdirected anger.

Remember, it wasn't too long ago a white British family set alight to all their kids. Was failing multicturalism the reason for that?

Apart from this being a Pinocchio fishing trip, its alway amusing reading the responses from a certain generation when the trigger word 'Muslim' is spouted. They fall over themselves reaching for the bus pass whilst trying to justify their aversion to a different culture.

It's the same when the other trigger word 'homosexual' is typed.
