Discuss The hard working Marines on HMS Fearless... in The Corps on Navy Net; Aruba was good, better than Curaçao. Montego Bay was the best R&R though.... 21 years ago, fuck I'm getting old....

Curaceo had a state owned whore village where all the women went that couldn't pay their taxes so it wasn't all bad

Here's the beach you stormed on Tortola Island BVI, I was one of the first ashore being in the ABU Recce, we marked the beach out for you fellas, the powers that be decided we'd all get killed doing that job so as soon as you yomped off to play soldiers I thought seeing as I'm dead I might as well turn it into a little bit of heaven.SANY0796.jpg

Camp Allegro was the village AKA Camp a legover.....

I was ATK and had the joy of lugging my Milan up the beach. Then it got canned and we got the beer in and had a right hoot.

I have a before and after picture of the beach - the photo of the next morning has Booties all over the place, beer cans and the remains of a bonfire. Obviously we cleaned it up before we went back on the boat.

    Sigs....bugger driving a taxi

I remember some Jamaican cop turning up as Lima Landed, no one had bothered to tell the locals we'd be invading them, cut of jeans, a singlet and a cops peaked cap... He was so laid back it was quite comical.

They did a corps wide sweep for essence blokes after I'd loafed as a GD for about 5 years.
