A few days away, Lake District or something. Y??
19-11-11, 12:41 #43I just wondered whether he had extended an invitation to you to visit him where he is based so that he can show you around? That would be nice and would suggest a certain genuineness. Have to say that the Lake District is a long way from where he is normally to be found ...
You probably don't need to be told this, but I would be very careful about meeting up in the Lake District with a bloke you don't really know and for whom you have no proper details eg address, place of work etc. This sort of thing can go wrong for the sharpest of women. You would be better off arranging to meet in a place where there are lots of people, like a coffee bar in a city, just in case he turns out to be not everything he says he is.
Sorry to sound a bit dismal - just better to be safe.Last edited by soleil; 19-11-11 at 12:47.

But don't ruin it for us rapist please, any bird that wants meet in the hills with someone they have not met, deserves tying to a tree and butchered.

Oh yea, no, I kno exactly wat u mean and appreciate ur concern. I think Lake District was originally suggested cos he'd be home from base and it would be a nicer alternative to Manchester lol even at that we'd most likely meet in Manchester n travel to lakes if thats what we wanted to happen.
I mean meeting up is the ultimate plan, but its a long way away if he's not goin to be back from afghan til june/july time. I'd not consider meeting him until I was completely sure he was being genuine. Its so silly, I mean i trust all that he's told me, I don't see why he'd need to lie when we Jus stumbled across each other in innocent chit chat. I just cnt shake this niggly feeling. He says I can write to him on tour, so that'll clear it up once n for all right??? Thanks for not taking the piss like the others, I was jus looking a lil bit of inside info

Delightful!
19-11-11, 13:03 #47Ok, I'll genuinely bite.
His deployment times do not coincide with the roulemont dates. For herrick 15 he would have deployed October, for 16 this coming April.
19-11-11, 13:05 #48I wonder what he does in the Royal Marines.
It might be worth asking him which is the best way to get in touch with him when he goes away, whether you need a special address for him and what kind of stamp needs to go on the letter .....
19-11-11, 13:06 #49Ergo, he's a lying walt.
Was he a hairdresser from Glasgow?Targets will fall when hit....
