AWWW YEAH! NO LONGER THE YOUNGEST!
To be fair, at your age, you've got several years before you can join to improve fitness. Also, are you in Year 9 or 10? If the former, don't worry about A-levels, because you won't have an inkling of what sort of GCSEs you'll get, if Year 10, it's good you're looking at that, but I would say not to become cocky so early on (Year 10 is early on in GCSEs in my view)Last edited by admiralscruff; 18-02-12 at 21:08.

I see what you did there.
It's cos I'm now the 2nd youngest person currently on RR. Although, I would like to hope that someone posting saying they want to be an officer could spell their screen name properly.

Give a man a fish and he'll feed his family for a day,
teach a man to fish and he'll sit round on a boat all day drinking beer.

18-02-12, 22:30 #506I decided to cease commenting when it turned out that a child was advising another child. plus I could not be arsed preparing a defence strategy in case a "mines bigger than yours" competition is required, due to the obvious solution to sort out disputes not being sutable for "minors".

Mne H, get stuck into the phys a bit more, (perhaps on the way home to avoid minging issues) and increase the distance regularly. Do some fartlek (google it or do a search on here as there are some Fartlek gurus aboard) as it's good for stamina and speed.
Also keep quiet about the FI defence plans in your interview, if you get that far.
Save that for your AIB or PRMC they'll be impressed I'm sure.
It takes 72 muscles to frown...but only 4 to raise a middle finger.

And methodically knocking people's hats off then, I account it high time to get to sea as soon as I can.
