    Both my golden and diamond are the same size which are smaller than campaign medals

    Just be thankful you got one, us old Buggers that escorted the Queen in her Yacht around throughout a Cold War and in dangerous waters,

    That's because you are currently not serving, as the criteria for the medal state. There are lads/lasses currently being shot at and facing a very real and constant risk of death, or very serious injury, in Afghanistan who also won't get it due to qualification criteria but they aren't dripping about it.
