Doubtless those in the "silent service" will be delighted to double their personal medal count amidst their 'port breast ironmongery'.

They have many more medals, it's just that you can't see them.

    Size isn't everything.

Maybe you're just bigger than when you received the OSM ?

As the only sensible person on this site I'll give a sensible answer. The golden jubilee medal is slightly smaller than my other ones (2 actually)......................I need a lie down!!

Both my golden and diamond are the same size which are smaller than campaign medals

That's because you are currently not serving, as the criteria for the medal state. There are lads/lasses currently being shot at and facing a very real and constant risk of death, or very serious injury, in Afghanistan who also won't get it due to qualification criteria but they aren't dripping about it.

teach a man to fish and he'll sit round on a boat all day drinking beer.

They should all be entitled as well, and as for dripping, if you call that dripping, you'll almost qualify as a 'Lower deck Lawyer'
