Who decides on MOD Aircraft Accident Prosecutions?

Think you may have a dodgy link because what has "Bodleian stands by stepladder ban" got to do with AC accidents?

Second link's a good one.

I would reckon after the MoD has carried out it's investigation if there are criminal charges to be made then the police would be involved at that stage.

Proving that a illegal action had caused the crash of a military helicopter would, I would guess be very difficult to prove by either the service investigation or civil.

It used to be the case that the RAF investigated fixed wing crashes and the RN would cover rotary wing accidents. I don't know if this is still the way it works.

It is still the case that the RN delivers rotary wing support and the RAF still cover fixed wing. We have specialists that undertake crash investigations.
