Yes of course they did, first appearances tell you how intelligent a candidate is.
What about your test??
Fcuk me do you want someone to wipe your ass for you too!!!?? It is all part of the same interview process, put on a suit and get on with it.
Yeah definitely.. fancy holding my hand through the process?
Thanks too the people who actually answered my question. - I've never went to a job interview before as I'm 17 years old, I don't see the problem with asking a question if I'm not sure about something.
The guy said he'd worn a suit to an interview not a test.
Feel free to close the thread, thank you.
No problems with the test either Ryan, don't worry about only being 17, I was only 15 when I had my interview....good luck to you.
Did I mention that I did mine in 1959?

Yep; Show up for EVERYTHING (perhaps bar the PJFT
) in suit and tie. It shows that you're putting the effort in, and if you can get the cash together invest in a decent one, you can get some decent ones from around £80, and it looks so much better than some crap polyester thing. As the old saying goes; you never get a second chance at a first impression!
Edit: and of course, good luck!
I was 15 when I had my interview and test. Did both in my school uniform back in 1988.

Shame about the attitude you put forward really.. I didn't "choose to ignore them"; I took on board what everyone had to say and simply asked the last person a question. - That doesn't mean I was ignoring everyone else's input.

Good for you Ryan, nearly a record with 36 posts to work out the obvious.

I didn't reply after the first few posts, I don't check the page every 2 minutes. - That doesn't mean I didn't make my mind up after seeing those first few. I can't control if people want to keep posting saying wear a suit after I've decided wearing one would be the best..

At least your brain doesn't work fast or we would have to call the fire brigade.

Is it that hard to process the fact I was away from the computer I couldn't reply to the first few posts? Get over it..

WEAR A SUIT!
You will NEVER be marked down for arriving at a test/interview in a suit

I did answer your question smartarse:
Wear a suit if you have one, you might stand out but it will be for the right reasons. If not then wear an ironed pair of trousers and a shirt.
It is part of a job interview process, a very important job interview, so you should treat each element as such and dress/act accordingly.
So did a number of other people, however you chose to ignore those answers didn't you??!!

Your choice of attire ultimately reflects how important the job is to you. If you really want the job, then part your arsecheeks and service those middle-aged businessmen in the train station toilets until you earn enough coin to buy a suit.
